Selling software or services to customers abroad (export) is native in Cord.
Collections and Currencies
Cord allows you to create the quote in USD or EUR. When the international customer clicks Pay, your Stripe account will process the charge on their card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) regardless of which country it comes from, depositing the funds to your bank in Mexico according to the rules of your Stripe account.
Tax Treatment (Export of Services)
When quoting a foreigner, you must use the generic international RFC XEXX010101000. To invoice correctly in Cord:
- Select CFDI Use: S01 (Without tax effects).
- Select the 0% VAT Rate. The export of services from Mexico is exempt/taxed at a zero rate for VAT purposes.
- Stamp the invoice. Cord will generate a perfectly valid CFDI that proves your international income.
