Changing the Business Name (Razón Social) and RFC of your operational account is a critical procedure, as it impacts live billing and the issuance of tax receipts.

Tax Migration Process

There is no button to “change the RFC” directly, as past invoices cannot be migrated to a new issuer. If your company legally changed its Business Name:

1. Create a new organization: Within Cord, you can belong to multiple organizations. Click on your company name in the top left and select Create new organization.
2. Register the new details (RFC, Business Name, SAT CSD).
3. Contact support so we can transfer your current subscription plan to the new account.
4. Export your client catalog from the old account and import it into the new one.

This method guarantees that your previous accounting history remains intact and immutable under the previous RFC for SAT audit purposes.
