Market conditions and supply prices change constantly. Never send a commercial proposal with an undetermined validity.

Configure Expiration Dates

When drafting a quote in Cord:

1. In the settings panel (right), locate Validity and Expiration.
2. Define how many days the offer is valid from the date it is sent (e.g., 15 days) or choose a hard expiration date on the calendar (e.g., December 31st).

Automatic Closure: When the clock crosses the configured deadline, the platform reacts as follows:

• The quote link switches to Read-Only mode and displays a banner indicating that the offer has expired.
• The “Accept Deal,” “Sign Electronically,” and “Card Payment” form buttons are disabled on the server, protecting you from accepting payments for services that may have already increased in price.

If the client contacts you to revive the agreement, you can manually extend the validity from the document’s settings.
