A quote in Cord is designed to be a legally valid and persuasive commercial proposal.
Quote Anatomy
A winning proposal consists of four main blocks:
- Header: Contains your company logo, your tax ID (RFC), the issue date, and the Folio Number (e.g.,
COT-2023-085). It also shows who the proposal is addressed to. - Line Items: This is the main table where you break down your products or services. Each item can have a long description with bullet points, an image, unit price, quantity, and discounts.
- Legal and Credit Terms: Here you define the rules of the game. For example: “This proposal is valid for 15 days. Payment must be made within 30 calendar days (Net 30) after acceptance.”
- Closing Block (Signature/Payment): This is the Call To Action (CTA). Depending on your setup, the client will see a button to electronically sign or a module to enter their card and pay the advance immediately.
Customization: You can change the colors of the buttons and typography from Settings > Appearance to match your brand manual exactly.
